It's
a trip down memory lane for any babyboomers, students and professionals
wanting to view, license and buy some of the rarest and most sought
after classic TV shows, Films & Commercials from the Golden
Age of Television and early Film.
What makes this collection unique is that it has been collected
and restored by the world renowned film & television historian
Ira H. Gallen over the last 25 years with the Museum of Television
and Radio in New York.
In
the same way that American Movie Classics tries to get viewer
support to preserve feature film history (but ignores TV's heritage),
you'll find Ira obsessed with uncovering the lost art of Television's
past, which includes an element of the FBI's Most Wanted as he
turns to the public to help save Television's past.
His
Video Resources New York Archive for over twenty years has been
used by scholars, schools, universities, ad agencies, film studios,
feature film producers, directors, music videos, documentary filmmakers,
collectors, hobbyists, toy companies, toy retailers, network and
cable news, magazine and variety shows worldwide.
